On 2 October President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko held three working meetings. They were devoted to various topics and for the most part were of a closed nature, but the most important issues were discussed. During the first meeting, the focus was on promising areas and the scientific and technical potential of the Belarusian defense industry. Cooperation with African countries in a wide range of areas is another set of issues that the head of state discussed. The supply of Belarusian products to the African continent, the assembly of machinery, cooperation in agriculture and food security are popular areas for which African partners have a request. In all areas, the President demands that work be intensified and accelerated. Topic number three is oil refining. At the working meeting on this issue, the focus of the discussion was on improving efficiency and increasing oil refining volumes.
