Union agenda at the Palace of Independence

Union issues were discussed at the Palace of Independence during a meeting between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Igor Shchegolev, the Russian Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District. Specifically, the Belarusian leader proposed that the Russian side join forces in the field of biotechnology. This concerns the joint work of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC) with similar enterprises in Russia. It was noted that during his visit to Belarus, Igor Shchegolev visited BNBC and praised Belarus's experience in this field. The Head of State placed particular emphasis on developing direct ties between enterprises and regions of Belarus and Russia, which will significantly enhance their efficiency, speed up project implementation, and facilitate the implementation of decisions made by the leadership of the two countries.
