The
agenda included issues such as the settlement of the insolvency of
organizations and the work of anti-crisis managers, as well as additional
measures to protect employees from unpaid wages. Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled
that two years ago, a new law was passed on the issue of resolving the
insolvency of organizations. Approaches to procedures have changed, shifting
the focus from bankruptcy to the recovery and preservation of enterprises and,
consequently, jobs. The Head of State asked how the innovations of that law had
affected the reduction of unprofitability in the economy. In addition, a draft
decree on ensuring the payment of remuneration for the work done was proposed
for consideration.
