Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico is expected to pay an official visit to Belarus today to hold negotiations in the government and visit Vitebsk, home to the Slovak pharmaceutical company Nativita, which specialises in producing personalised vaccines for cancer treatment. The two countries intend to cooperate in this sphere. This will be contributed to by a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation in research and education between the universities of Vitebsk and Bratislava, expected to be signed today.Belarus is currently home to about 30 companies with Slovak capital, the key cooperation areas being energy, mechanical engineering and the pharmaceuticals industry.
