Belarus and Iran are working on a strategic partnership agreement

A meeting was held in the House of Representatives with Alireza Sanayi, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus. The parties discussed further plans for the development of parliamentary and trade and economic relations. Among these plans is the further development of a roadmap for the development of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. Minsk and Tehran are also developing humanitarian contacts and cooperating in the fields of education and healthcare. They are ready to establish tourist routes, despite the challenging situation in the Middle East. There is mutual interest in launching a direct flight between the two capitals.
