Maxim Ryzhenkov: Belarus views Algeria as a key partner in North Africa

The Belarusian Foreign Minister made this statement following the meeting with his Algerian counterpart. During the talks, he emphasized that Belarusian exports in the first half of 2026 amounted to almost $80 mln, twice the amount for the entire year 2025. The Belarusian side welcomes the active exchange of bilateral visits between delegations in the fields of industry and agriculture, as well as the development of contacts between business representatives. According to Maxim Ryzhenkov, the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus will soon visit Algeria to finalize a number of projects.
