Belarus and Cuba are strengthening ties in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and industrial cooperation. Prospects for joint projects were discussed in the House of Representatives with the country's ambassador. Cooperation between Minsk and Havana is developing steadily, with a particular focus on food security. Belarus is ready to share advanced technologies in the agricultural sector. Another area of mutual interest is medicine. Cuba intends to expand purchases of Belarusian medicines and develop joint production of these drugs. Belarus is ready to support its partners at all times. Minsk is monitoring the situation surrounding Cuba with concern, as it faces unprecedented external pressure. To prevent a humanitarian crisis, Belarus, by decision of the government and with the consent of the Head of State, is preparing to send a special cargo. Havana will receive 30 tonnes of powdered milk and over 3.5 tonnes of medications. The aid will be delivered as soon as possible.
