Belarus and Azerbaijan have a time-tested strategic partnership. This was stated by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin during his talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Asadov in Baku. The two countries have strong relations, proven by time and intensive trade and economic cooperation. Last year, the mutual turnover has grown significantly, but there is potential for further development. Industry is one of the key spheres of interaction. Ganja automobile plant is one of the examples here, where the assembly of Belarusian machinery has been mastered. The organization of joint production of veterinary drugs is at the final stage. The partners are ready to launch joint production of elevators and municipal equipment.
