Belarusian President to take part in Summit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation

TheSummitof the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has brought together representatives of more than 50 countries. It is expected that the forum will be attended by Alexander Lukashenko. By the way, this is the fourth visit of the Belarusian leader toTurkey. The program includes a series of bilateral talks at the highest level. Last night there was a meeting of the Presidents ofBelarusandTurkey.
The motto of the meeting is unity and solidarity in the name of justice and peace.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation includes 57 countries. Our country asks for the status of observer in this organization.
Alexander Lukashenko and Recep Tayyip Erdogan met the night before. Of course, the main theme of the talks is economy, because it is a drive of bilateral relations. The time has come to intensify cooperation with an emphasis on trade and investment.
Most of the meeting was held behind closed doors. By the way, the President of Turkey confirmed the intention to visitBelarus.
