The international monitoring group has pointed out a high level of alternativeness of the upcoming elections in Belarus.<br> <br>OSCE mission representatives fromNorway,Swedenand theUK, headed by Vice-President of the OSCE Assembly, special coordinator for the parliamentary elections in Belarus Kent Harstedt, have visited three district committees of theMogilevregion, pointing out a high level of alternativeness of the upcoming elections. An average of five candidates is competing for one deputy seat in theMogilevregion.<br>7 observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and 2 from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly have been accredited to monitor the elections to the lower chamber ofBelarus" parliament. 51 observers from the OSCE/ODIHR have been accredited earlier.
