The Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus is holding the Congress of Patriotic Forces on 9-10 September. It takes place in Minsk and is timed to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from nazi invaders. More than 50 guests from the European Union, the Russian Federation and other states are taking part in the event. The aim of the forum is to unite healthy political forces on the planet for mutually beneficial co-operation, to establish peace without sanctions, wars and pressure. The programme includes two sections — political and economic. "This is the first time the Congress is held exactly in an international format. This is a unique event. The myth of Belarus' isolation fell through long ago. We have long been developing our relations with China, the Middle East, with many countries of the world. But today we are showing that Europe is also with us. Europe is not homogeneous", said Oleg Gaidukevich.
