Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made a working trip to Brest region. The head of state visited the farm Kvasevichi in Ivatsevichi District. It comprises four thousand hectares of farmland and specializes in the production of grain, milk and meat. The primary goal of the trip is the harvesting campaign in the current weather conditions and measures to reduce crop losses. The Brest region has already harvested the first million tons of grain. On this occasion the head of state was handed a loaf of bread. Belarus President also paid an off-schedule visit to the troubled farm Kossovo. Right on the field the President got acquainted with the grain harvesting process and communicated with the crew of combine operators. The harvesting is scheduled to be completed by August 20.
