Belarus and Sudan signed an agreement on friendly relations and cooperation. The document was signed following the official talks in Khartoum by the leaders of the two countries, Alexander Lukashenko and Omar Hassan al-Bashir. The two Presidents also signed a joint statement. Both leaders reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further development and deepening of friendly relations between the two countries in various fields. According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus and Sudan will develop a roadmap for cooperation with an emphasis on tangible results. The action plan is to include specific proposals for which contracts will be concluded in the near future.
