A summit of CIS leaders starts in Ashgabat today. The day before, Alexander Lukashenko arrived on a working visit to Turkmenistan. The agenda of the meeting of heads of state includes a wide range of issues in the economy, the fight against terrorism, the humanitarian sphere and sports. In addition, for leaders, such meetings are also an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations. The Commonwealth Summit was preceded by negotiations of the foreign ministers of the commonwealth countries. As a result, the Plan of Actions for Enhancing Partnership between the Foreign Ministries was approved. This will help to better coordinate activities in the international arena.
