Vitebsk free economic zone plans to attract more than Br300 mln of investment this year. The main share of investments will be provided by nine key resident enterprises. The largest project is promised to be implemented by the autumn of 2026. This is the commissioning of a modern fish processing plant. The industrial giants of the region are also seriously modernizing production. Polotsk-Steklovolokno is increasing the production of facade nets and the Orshanskiy Lnokombinat is launching the production of innovative yarn. Vitebsk will also launch the production of new-generation communications equipment and expand the production of innovative veterinary drugs.
