The Prime Minister of Belarus held talks with the Governors of Omsk and Voronezh Oblasts of Russia

The Government of Belarus held a substantive dialogue with the leadership of the Russian regions. Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin met with Governor of the Omsk Oblast Vitaly Khotsenko. The parties outlined prospects for further joint work, including shipments of a wide range of Belarusian machinery and elevator equipment to the region. There are plans to strengthen the partnership in the agro-industrial complex. Belarus also continues to strengthen the foundation of already strong trade and economic relations with the Voronezh Oblast. In 2025, the trade turnover reached more than $600 mln. The parties are interested in increasing cooperation in the construction industry and the agro-industrial complex.
