The Belarusian-Indonesian Business Forum is being held in Jakarta
About 20 commercial contracts and agreements worth almost $50 mln have already been signed at the Belarusian-Indonesian business forum in Jakarta. This is an intermediate result. A large Belarusian delegation arrived at the forum with representatives of many sectors of the economy, including mechanical engineering, food production, education, logistics, and the insurance services sector. New agreements are expected based on the results of meetings at enterprises in Jakarta. One of the most important areas of cooperation is food security. Indonesian consumers have already had the opportunity to evaluate the quality of Belarusian food products. An additional incentive to the bilateral partnership will be provided by the entry into force of the agreement on the formation of a free trade zone between Indonesia and the EAEU member states.
