Beef farming is a significant driver of development in Belarus's agro-industrial complex. Two large bull fattening facilities will be built in the Minsk Oblast. Each will accommodate 2.400 head of cattle. They will be located in the Nesvizh District. Work continues on raising cattle breeds with valuable beef quality. For example, the Belintergenagro enterprise in the Uzda District is breeding Aberdeen Angus bulls using genetic material from North America. These animals are sent to breeding farms. They could eventually become the basis for beef production in the Minsk Oblast.
