The tourism development strategy was discussed in Grodno region

The development of health tourism was discussed in Dyatlovo district at a meeting of the working group under the Council of Ministers. The year 2024 was a record year for the sector by all parameters, and this is not the limit. The tourism development strategy of Belarus envisages to reach the figure of 5% of the industry's contribution to the total GDP by 2030. Today this figure is 2 times less. The desired level can be achieved through tourism exports. In 2024, more than 160.000 people from 159 countries will come to Belarus for recuperation. The average occupancy rate of the country's treatment and recreation complexes was over 84%.
