The President approved the republican budget for 2026

The President of Belarus signed the Law "On the Republican Budget for 2026". The adopted document ensures the fulfillment of all social obligations of the state and preserves the stability of finances. Revenues will amount to Br54.4 bln, expenses — Br58.7 bln. The budget deficit will not exceed 1.5% of GDP. Compared to 2025, revenues will grow by almost 12.5%. The social orientation remains. The priorities are healthcare, education, social support, culture and sports. Financing of these areas ensures accessibility and quality of services for citizens. The budget also provides for increased financing in other priority areas such as science, the agro-industrial complex and export support.
