The new historical maximum of Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves is $11.5 bln.

Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves have increased significantly and reached a new historical maximum. During the month, the country's asset grew by almost $380 mln. The total amount of gold reserves exceeded $11.5 bln. The main part of Belarus' international reserves consists of assets in foreign currency and monetary gold. So, at the beginning of July, the volume of the currency was $4.427 bln, that is, in June it increased by almost $339 mln. The volume of gold reached almost $5.7 bln.
