The National Bank of Belarus and the Central Bank of Russia discussed bilateral cooperation in the banking sector

The negotiations were attended by Roman Golovchenko, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus and Elvira Nabiullina, Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia, as well as representatives of the main financial institutions of the two countries. The meeting was held at the palace and park complex in Sviatsk, Grodno Oblast. During the meeting, the participants discussed current issues related to financial stability and joint measures for the development of the banking systems of the two countries. As a result of the negotiations, the parties signed a Protocol of the meeting of the Interbank Currency Council, which aims to further develop interbank cooperation.
