The Economic Forum has started in Gomel

16 delegations from various countries, over 500 participants, numerous exhibitions, and new investment proposals. The 19th Economic Forum opened today in Gomel. Participants laid flowers at the legendary T-34 tank and the "Tree of Life" memorial to the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people, located on the site of the former Dulag-121 transit camp, where over 100.000 Soviet prisoners of war were murdered by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War. Representatives from Russian regions, China, Slovakia, Serbia, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan discussed current issues of international trade, economic, and investment cooperation at the plenary session.
