A meeting with a delegation of Türkish business circles was held at the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus. Following the meeting, Sergei Aleinik, Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic, noted that the parties had given priority attention to issues of trade and economic cooperation. He expressed confidence that the visit of the Türkish delegation would lead to new agreements, primarily in industrial cooperation, agriculture, woodworking, light industry, and other areas, as well as to new points of contact in terms of investment cooperation and the creation of joint production facilities.
