Residents of the SCO countries have increased the volume of transactions on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange by almost a third

The amount of exchange transactions of companies from the SCO countries on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange in the first eight months of 2025 reached $983mln, which is 28% more than in 2024. Residents of Russia, China and Uzbekistan have become the most active users of the exchange. They accounted for 95% of the SCO's turnover on Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan showed particularly high growth rates. The increase in transactions is related to purchases of Belarusian meat and dairy products and lumber. 5.526 SCO residents have been accredited to the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, which is 629 more than at the beginning of the year.
