Representatives of Gomel Oblast signed contracts worth $7.5 mln with partners in Uzbekistan

These are the results of the visit of the delegation from the southeastern region of Belarus to Tashkent. The focus was on key areas of cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres. Following the talks, cooperation agreements were signed between regions and Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The trade, economic, and cultural potential of the Gomel Oblast was showcased at two business forums and a product exhibition was held. Dozens of business representatives from Uzbekistan expressed interest in importing Belarusian products. Interest is also expressed in implementing agricultural projects.
