Minsk Oblast provides more than 22% of the country's industrial production
The central region is the leader in terms of salaries among the regions. The region with a strong industrial potential is dynamically developing and occupies leading positions, for example, in the production of potash fertilizers, passenger cars and knitwear. In 2024, "Belgee" produced more than 90.000 vehicles from the assembly line. In general, the central region provides more than 22% of the country's industrial production and demonstrates success in import substitution. The "One district— One Project" initiative is giving good results. The satellite cities of Dzerzhinsk, Zaslavl, Logoysk, Rudensk, Smolevichi and Fanipol are also actively developing in the region. Housing is being actively built here, and a comfortable infrastructure is being created.
