Maize sowing has been completed in Minsk region

Spring field work continues in Belarus. The agrarians of Minsk region are the first in the country to complete the sowing of maize. The total area is 275.000 hectares. More than 40% of them are allocated for cereals. Thus, the farm "Pyatigorie" of the agrokombinat "Dzerzhinsky" has completed sowing on the last fields, located in Volozhin district. In total, the enterprise has 2.600 hectares for maize. Gomselmash machines will help the agrarians this summer and autumn. The day before, agricultural organisations of Minsk region received 80 new grain and forage harvesters.
