Kaliningrad Oblast aims to reach the pre-sanctions level of trade turnover with Belarus

This was stated by Governor of the Russian region Alexey Besprozvannykh after a meeting with the Head of the Belarusian State. He noted that Kaliningrad Oblast is very fond of Belarusian dairy and sausage products. A number of projects are being discussed in the sphere of industry. For example, Kaliningrad offers to supply Belarus with batteries for electric transport and buys various Belarusian equipment. "The key reason for the decline in trade turnover is the restrictions imposed by unfriendly neighbours. But business adapts, adjusts, finds new logistics channels. If we have restrictions on land transportations, we are developing sea transportations", said the Head of the Russian region.
