There is steady growth in the exploration and extraction of natural building materials. Particular attention is being paid to groundwater, the country's main resource and the largest in volume among all mineral resources. The potential of Belarus's subsoil resources is over 43 million cubic meters of water per day, guaranteeing every resident of the country access to clean drinking water.
