30.01.2026
The government launched a new state program, "Sustainable Entrepreneurship." Particular attention will be paid to small districts, where new enterprises offer people an opportunity to develop and work in their native land. A clothing company in Chechersk opened in 2023. It started with four people, and now has a staff of 20. The business owner is a local resident, and therefore recruits his team from his fellow townspeople. In total, over 30.000 businesses are registered in the Gomel Oblast. Advice on developing private initiatives is provided to support them. The main goal is to give everyone the opportunity to realize their ideas.
