Farmers of the southern regions are actively involved in field work

The southern regions of the Minsk Oblast are actively involved in the spring field work. For example, in Soligorsk, Luban, Slutsk and Starye dorogi districts, farmers are fertilizing winter cereals and rapeseed. Their overwintering was mostly successful. As for spring crops, this year the central region will need to sow grain crops on an area of more than 70.000 hectares, and corn fields will occupy 300.000 hectares. About 7.000 machine operators will be involved. Agrarians are also waiting for the support of the capital: more than 400 people will come to the Minsk Oblast to help with the spring field work.
