A joint meeting of the working group on trade, economic, and scientific-technical cooperation between Belarus and Tyumen Oblast of Russia was held in Minsk. The parties focused on developing cooperation in the oil and gas sector. Belarus is interested in the Tyumen Oblast's expertise in the exploration of fuel and energy resources. This was stated by Deputy Energy Minister Denis Moroz. Following the meeting, an agreement was signed on establishing cooperation between the Kletsk Region Executive Committee of Minsk Oblast and the administration of the Nizhnevartovsk Municipal District of the Tyumen Oblast.
