Belstat assessed the performance of the economy in 5 months

The economy of Belarus remains positive. The volume of GDP in current prices was Br101.4 bln, or in comparable prices 102.5% at the level of January – May 2024. As for the agro-industrial complex, in sectors of all categories the production of agricultural products amounted to Br9.5 bln or at comparable prices 99% to the level of the corresponding period of the previous year. The lower production rate is due to the later start of forage from grass this year. The real monetary income of the population in Belarus rose by 10.8% in January – April.
