Belarusian scientists have tamed microorganisms
17.12.2025
Scientists at the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences have developed a unique biological product. Its application is aimed at increasing the yield of sugar beet, significantly improving the efficiency of its cultivation. Today, Belarusian scientists have literally tamed microorganisms. And this is what also helps to maintain the health of animals, improve the quality of food, and create medicines. The use of their biological products has already allowed farmers to reduce the cost of chemical fertilizers and plant protection products by 30%. For the industry, this directly leads to cheaper fruits and vegetables on the domestic market, and for the country, to increased food security.
