Belarus is introducing a new instant payment system
30.12.2025
Customers will be able to pay for goods and services using a QR code through the app. In February, the regulator promises to adopt the operating rules for the Krok payment service, and by mid-next year, all major Belarusian banks and retail outlets should be connected to the system. Customers will be able to experience the benefits of this new payment method this summer. In the future, the service's functionality is planned to be expanded to allow QR code payments abroad in friendly countries using Belarusian instruments without the need for a local bank card.
