Belarus and the Kemerovo Oblast of Russia are expanding cooperation

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia A. Rogozhnik met with Governor of Kuzbass I. Seredyuk in Moscow. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in industry, education, culture and tourism, as well as the development of trade and economic ties. The key topic of the talks was the establishment of BELAZ dump trucks production in the region. It is expected that the multi-brand centre of Belarusian machinery in Kuzbass will become the largest in Russia. The parties discussed the issues of supplies of Belarusian trams to Kemerovo Oblast. The parties agreed to hold the Days of Belarus in Kemerovo Oblast.
