Belarus and Qatar plan to expand cooperation in agriculture and food

Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuri Gorlov held talks with Qatar's Charge d'affaires in Belarus Hamoud Saleh Al-Saadi. Agriculture is one of the key areas of bilateral relations. In January - November 2025, skimmed milk powder, cottage cheese, and cheeses formed the basis of exports. At the meeting, attention was paid to entering the Qatari meat market. Belarus is interested not only in expanding the geography of exports, but also in deepening cooperation. Including through the supply of products that meet the strictest consumer requirements. Qatar's business community expresses interest in participating in Belagro 2026 as a platform for concluding specific contracts and establishing long-term partnerships.
