Belarus and Qatar Intend to Develop Investment Cooperation

A meeting with Hamoud Saleh Al-Saadi, Chargé d'Affaires of Qatar in Belarus, was held at the Council of the Republic. Sergei Aleinik, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic on International Affairs and National Security, noted that over the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, good relations have been built on the foundation of mutual respect. Prospects for a new committee meeting and a roadmap for cooperation, including trade and economic cooperation, investment, and tourism development, were discussed. Hamoud Saleh Al-Saadi emphasized the high level of security in Belarus and expressed his readiness to promote tourism.
