Belarus and Kazakhstan plan to reach $1 bln in trade turnover in the near future, and potentially double this figure. Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin and Kazakhstan's Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev discussed joint economic plans. An agreement to meet was reached during a recent visit by a Belarusian government delegation. Such intensive contacts demonstrate the special status of these relations, which are also yielding positive economic results. Over the first nine months, trade turnover has grown by approximately 20%.
