Belarus and Dagestan open new areas of cooperation

From the construction of a Belarusian sanatorium on the shore of the Caspian Sea to the establishment of a joint venture to produce fabric. Belarus and Dagestan are launching new joint projects. A project to set up a joint venture to produce fabric is being worked out. Sheep breeding is highly developed in Dagestan. It produces 25% of the total volume of Russian wool. The region also has high indicators of industrial development. Last year the production of footwear increased 3.5 times. The plan is to increase shoe production to 10 mln pairs per year by 2030. The parties see great prospects in the development of cooperation in this area. Belarus is now one of the top three trade partners of this Russian region.
