Agrarians sum up the results of the year

This year, despite the early spring with frosts and low temperatures, farmers are close to threshing 11 mln tonnes of grain, including rapeseed and corn. The potato fields have already been harvested and the beet harvest is coming to an end. The results of the harvesting campaign and the tasks of the agro-industrial complex were discussed at a press conference on the eve of the professional holiday of farmers. Every year in Belarus on every third Sunday in November the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers is celebrated — those who guard our food security.
