Belarus and Kazakhstan are reliable, time-tested allies and partners. This was stated by Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin at a meeting with Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The parties discussed prospects for trade, economic, and industrial cooperation between the two countries. The head of the Belarusian government assured that he intends to continue maintaining the high pace of mutually beneficial dialogue and coordinate the practical implementation of the objectives set by the heads of state. In the first eight months of this year, mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Belarus increased by 20% compared to last year. 12 industrial cooperation projects worth $204 mln have been implemented to date, with three more projects in the works.
