A stamping shop will be built at the BELGEE plant. This is part of the second phase of a large-scale modernization. Approvals and the selection of a contractor are currently underway. The project is expected to take 21 months to complete. A similar facility has never been built in Belarus. The Prime Minister reviewed the status of the automobile industry. The development prospects of another passenger car plant were also discussed. This year, the Borisov plant has already produced almost 22.400 vehicles, earning over $250 million in export revenue.
