A new technology for colouring textiles using ultrasound has been developed in Vitebsk
02.06.2025
Teachers and students of Vitebsk State Technological University have developed an ecological and energy-saving method of colouring textile materials using ultrasound. The dyes are made of natural materials: alder cones, sauerkraut juice, oak bark, aloe vera and red mountain ash. Ultrasonic baths accelerate the intensity of physical and chemical processes. This makes the colour brighter and more durable and the materials more resistant.
