A Belarusian scientist proposes a new approach to aluminum recycling
17.02.2026
From household waste to demanded raw material. A scientist from Belarusian National Technical University has found a use for complex aluminum recyclables. An innovative method allows the transformation of used cosmetic tubes, aluminum cans and confectionery foil into a high-quality base for industrial products. Even bottle tops with dispensers are now on the list of "recycled gold". The Belarusian researcher's immediate plans include mastering the recycling of pharmaceutical blister packs. The project has received close attention from Belarusian scientists. The high significance of the development has also been recognized at the state level. The research has been awarded a grant from the President of Belarus.
