Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Moldovan politician and former president Igor Dodon, who currently serves as the leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova. A. Lukashenko and I. Dodon are long-standing friends. The Moldovan politician has visited Minsk on numerous occasions, both during his tenure as the country's leader and later as a party leader. Aleksandr Lukashenko makes no secret of the pain he feels for the country, a republic close to Belarusians.
