Efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between India and Belarus are set to receive a significant push with the India-Belarus Business Forum and B2B Negotiations scheduled to be held at the World Trade Center Mumbai on June 17, 2026. The day-long event is expected to bring together policymakers, business leaders, investors and trade representatives from both countries to explore new avenues for collaboration in trade, investment and technology.

Speaking to Mumbai Messenger Newspaper, His Excellency Aliaksandr Matsukou, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Mumbai, described the forum as a significant milestone in bilateral business engagement. “The Belarus-India Business Forum is being held for the first time in many years and is aimed at making the business ecosystems of both countries more accessible, understandable and tangible for entrepreneurs and investors. While the event could have been conducted virtually, we strongly believe in the value of face-to-face interactions and people-to-people connections. We invite the business community from Maharashtra and across India to participate in this forum and explore opportunities to make our businesses larger, stronger and more efficient.”

Organisers said the forum will focus on enhancing bilateral business engagement under the theme “Stronger Partnership, Shared Prosperity.” More than 150 participants and over 15 speakers from diverse sectors are expected to attend the event, providing a platform for direct business-to-business meetings and discussions on emerging opportunities in both markets.
