Raubichi to host 2020 IBU Open European Championships

The Raubichi Olympic Center is to host the IBU European Open Biathlon Championships instead of Estonian Otepää. Due to the lack of snow in Estonia the International Biathlon Union was urgently looking for other venues.  The day before, IBU inspector Arne Aydem personally examined the Olympic Center near Minsk and sent a corresponding report to the organizers. On February 23, athletes will start arriving in Minsk, the first race is scheduled for February 26. The competitions will last until March 1.
