"Raubichi" preparing for European Biathlon Championships

The day before President Aleksandr Lukashenko familiarized himself with the preparation of the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Winter Sports for the upcoming European Biathlon Championships. These competitions were relocated from Estonia's Otepää to "Raubichi". The reason is the warm weather which made it impossible to maintain snow on the course at the Estonian facility. In turn, the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus, as well as representatives of the "Raubichi" complex announced their readiness to host the forum. A lot of work has been done on snow preparation. IBU will allocate 125 thousand euros to Belarus for holding the continental competitions. The first European Championships races will be held on February 26, and a week later "Raubichi" will also host the IBU Cup stage.
